Domestic US Shipping prices will be increasing on the McDougall Designs Webstore on Monday February 3rd 2025.
Due to postal increases at USPS, I can no longer maintain my current shipping price structure. On the 19th of January, USPS increased prices again on ground shipping and upward. I did not raise prices on the 19th as I wanted to gather data and see how much this impacted my store.
I can now unfortunately say, it was a small but significant bump.
As of Monday, February 3rd 2025:
$0-50 in order value = $6.24 flat shipping rate
$50-100 in order value = $8.25 flat shipping rate
$100-150 = $11 flat shipping rate
$150 = New Free shipping threshold.
I do not want to do this, however it is unavoidable at this point. I am hoping shipping increases over 2025 do not require further changes to my rates.
Here is the USPS notice of the increase for January 19th. There was at least 1 rate increase in July of 2024 that I absorbed last year.

If you are looking to get in an order now, even if it is a special order and would ship after I increase rates, I would place it now.
